Dr Naomi Folb

NCACE Research Associate

Naomi has been selected as an NCACE Research Associate, part of a pilot programme recognising independent researchers and arts and cultural practitioners.

Dr Naomi Folb is a researcher and designer specialising in accessibility, organisational learning and neurodiversity. She works at the intersection of higher education, creative practice and emerging technologies, focusing on how accessible communication infrastructures can strengthen research and cultural partnerships. Her research examines how cognitive, sensory and communicative differences shape participation, and how digital tools can support fairer, more sustainable collaboration across sectors.

Through Access Archer, her research and design practice, she develops tools and methods that embed accessibility and cognitive equity into creative and organisational processes. Naomi has held research roles including Postdoctoral Researcher at Copenhagen Business School working on immersive
technologies and organisational learning. Her previous work includes leading accessibility-centred projects for the Venice Biennale College Cinema and
Juxtapose exhibition, and founding RASP, a dyslexic-led publishing house supporting neurodivergent writers.

Her expertise includes designing XR-based learning tools, developing methodologies for inclusive co-creation, and building equitable communication structures within neuromixed teams. Naomi is committed to strengthening equitable knowledge exchange, supporting participatory design, and creating environments in which diverse ways of thinking and creating can contribute to meaningful cultural and research impact.
